The Ritrosi Family

them bouncy curls, and sass...

When photographing, I vibe off families. I love families who are completely laid back, who come as they are (preferably without a pinterest board full of ideas on poses). The Ritrosi family was one like that - they came dressed down, and fully prepared to have some fun in the park, with their gorgeous curly-haired, bubble-loving, cheeky, smiley little toddler.

The Chin Family

To laugh together, to live abundantly, and to love fully.

I always love photographing large families. They bring with it so much character, personality and whole lot of fun. The Chins are awesomely photogenic and very hospitable - they kept wanting to feed me, and made sure I had enough water. For a moment, I felt very much part of the family. Thank you for spending a beautiful morning with me.

The Yapp Family

A person is a person,
no matter how small
- Dr Seuss 'Horton Hears a Who'

Little G is a baby no more! And what a character he is too! Even though his baby fats were all gone, I enjoyed getting to know the cherubic now two-year old. Flashback to when he was just a tiny baby here.

It's a Party: LAS is ONE!

You have brains in your head you have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
- Dr Seuss 'Oh, The Places You'll Go!'

When Michelle-Ann contacted me again, to photograph her gorgeous little girl turning one, I couldn't help but squeal with delight. You see, this amazing mama always throws a pinterest-worthy party, filled with so much laughter and LOVE. I knew I would be in for a treat! We had an intimate mini tea-party, and a week later, a hot-air balloon themed birthday party.

little boy, when you speak,
I can't help but kiss your cheeks
I love the way you grab my hands
and tell me all about your plans.

My gorgeous little cousin is now all of TWO! Even though he has grown in height, he has not lost his easy cheeky laughter.

The Keng Family 2016

Life is a constant journey of growing
and refining who we are.

The Kengs is very dear to my heart. I guess it's because I've been photographing them since their little girl was only a month old! This was back in January 2015, when I was also seriously considering photography. They have probably seen me at my worst..... while I'm trying to figure out my storytelling style. I'm so completely thankful for them, who have faith and kept trusting me to capture their memories. I love that they've grown together with me through the years, and I cannot wait to photograph their little ones (there is now baby no. 2!), as they become their own persons, through the years.

The Oon Family

"Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale."

An inquisitive bubbly 2 year old, a sleepy baby, and a very organised mum and dad - makes for a very enjoyable session! I first photographed Rebecca and Solomon when they tied the knot a number of years ago. To see them now, each with their 'mini-me', made me dance a happy little jig. Love celebrating life's milestones.

Family Portrait: The Wongs

Happiness is...
a BIG, CHAOTIC family!

A little boy, a little girl, a set of twin baby boys, their parents, their grandparents... I enjoyed every minute - yes even the sweaty ones - spent photographing, this loud, boisterous, and very friendly family. Their love and joy overflowed, and made me smile as I photographed them. There was never a dull moment!

Family Portrait: Twins Rule!

Double the trouble...
Double the fun!

Oh life is so much more fun when there are two of everything! This pair of just turned two year old energiser bunnies and their doting sweet big brother were the cutest! The babies just celebrated turning 2 the day before with a huge party - so they came with balloons and lots of pressies. They certainly kept me and their parents busy, running after them.
