Little boy rules: Explore, Discover new things, Go on an Adventure!

When clients I've photographed, comes back for another session, this time with a little one in tow. I absolutely loved photographing and getting to know this cheeky little one.

Family Portrait: Siblings LOVE

Find JOY in the ordinary

Singing at the top of your voice, skipping to your own beat, laughing out loud, the anticipation of ice-cream, or even being unafraid to cry - photographing these two sisters reminded me about the importance of not letting anyone dim our happiness and joy, and also not being afraid to show our true emotions.

The Khoo Family

you're the sunshine brightening my days
please never set.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I love photographing large families. It's organised chaos, with people talking all over each other - competing to be heard; it's loud raucous laughter - most of the time, making fun of each other; most of all, it's the undercurrent of LOVE and knowing that this huge family has got your back, always!

With siblings flying home from Australia, and another driving up from Singapore, the Khoo Family made for some very fun, and laugh-out-loud moments, at their session.

The Ritrosi Family

them bouncy curls, and sass...

When photographing, I vibe off families. I love families who are completely laid back, who come as they are (preferably without a pinterest board full of ideas on poses). The Ritrosi family was one like that - they came dressed down, and fully prepared to have some fun in the park, with their gorgeous curly-haired, bubble-loving, cheeky, smiley little toddler.

The Chin Family

To laugh together, to live abundantly, and to love fully.

I always love photographing large families. They bring with it so much character, personality and whole lot of fun. The Chins are awesomely photogenic and very hospitable - they kept wanting to feed me, and made sure I had enough water. For a moment, I felt very much part of the family. Thank you for spending a beautiful morning with me.

The Yapp Family

Little G is a baby no more! And what a character he is too! Even though his baby fats were all gone, I enjoyed getting to know the cherubic now two-year old. Flashback to when he was just a tiny baby here.

It's a Party: LAS is ONE!

You have brains in your head you have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.

When Michelle-Ann contacted me again, to photograph her gorgeous little girl turning one, I couldn't help but squeal with delight. You see, this amazing mama always throws a pinterest-worthy party, filled with so much laughter and LOVE. I knew I would be in for a treat! We had an intimate mini tea-party, and a week later, a hot-air balloon themed birthday party.

The Tan Family 2017

little boy, when you speak,
I can't help but kiss your cheeks
I love the way you grab my hands
and tell me all about your plans.

My gorgeous little cousin is now all of TWO! Even though he has grown in height, he has not lost his easy cheeky laughter.

The Lim Family

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13

On 12.12.17, Uncle Paul and Aunty Caris celebrated 47 years of marriage! Loving, wise, gentle, kind, and humorous, both BLee and I are really blessed to have this couple, as our role models, and our pre-marriage (now marriage) counsellors.

Even though they usually spend 6-7 months out of the country (usually with their family in the UK), they have always been there for us. They have seen us at our worst, and celebrated each small tiny victory with us. They have also prayed over us, and for us. We also especially LOVE the fact that each time we dined at their place, Aunty Caris goes all out, and ensures that we've got at least a 3 course meal! Thank you for being such big blessings in our lives. xoxo

The Keng Family 2016

Life is a constant journey of growing
and refining who we are.

The Kengs is very dear to my heart. I guess it's because I've been photographing them since their little girl was only a month old! This was back in January 2015, when I was also seriously considering photography. They have probably seen me at my worst..... while I'm trying to figure out my storytelling style. I'm so completely thankful for them, who have faith and kept trusting me to capture their memories. I love that they've grown together with me through the years, and I cannot wait to photograph their little ones (there is now baby no. 2!), as they become their own persons, through the years.
