'Family means putting your arms around each other, and being there.'
Oh.. the way his smile lights up his face! What a special little boy. Despite the heat, the sunshiny 6-month old was so cheerful, from start to finish!

"and at the end of the day,
your feet should be dirty,
your hair messy,
and your eyes sparkling."
Love it when families are not afraid to get a little bit (or a lot!) of dirt on, and are just so in-the-moment enjoying themselves. It definitely makes photographing them so much easier.
giggles are contagious!
I love a session filled with lots and lots of loud peals of laughter. There is never too much laughter! The Wee family were complete naturals, and absolute sweethearts.
One million memories, ten thousand inside jokes,
one hundred shared secrets, one reason: best friends.
With mummies who have been best friends since primary school, it's only apt these two little girls are best friends too! It was so cute watching them converse with each other, they were just so in sync, and seemed to enjoy each other's company the most! To my amusement, they were happiest and laughing most naturally when posing for photos with each other.
I hope one day, my best friend and I, we will get pregnant and have kids at the same time, so that they can grow and laugh together, just like these two. #ohmyheart
"You're one in a melon!"
Just like her Big Sister C, Baby E celebrated her first birthday, with a refreshing watermelon smash. It was definitely a welcome respite from the Singaporean heat. ...and ... them pearls and tutu (Big Sister C's exact outfit a few years ago) - so completely adorbs!
I absolutely loved being a part of making heart memories.
because I have a sister,
I'll always have a friend.
Nay and Maddy are the sweetest pair of sisters I've photographed. Within the first 5 minutes of my session, I know that if I wanted little sister to do something, I just need to tell Nay what to do, and Maddy will immediately follow her. She's like her little shadow, her mini me.
the greatest healing therapy is
friendship and love.

I was quite excited to photograph back-to-back sessions for 2 families who are also good friends. Photographing one family with 2 little ones is already boisterous enough, adding two more into the mix, made for an evening of loud laughter and crazy fun playing tag. I didn't have to give much direction, but I definitely got a workout, running after them.
'Aunty where you? Aunty go hide... boy boy count.
Aunty, Uncle, where you? Tunnel.... Aunty read book...aunty...'

It's always amazing to catch up with friends, and photograph their growing little one. We spent a day out at Universal Studios Singapore, hung out at home with play doh, paints and puzzles, had lots of good conversation over yummy food. Thank you so much for your friendship, Ben and Serena. You are such a blessing to us.
Oh brother... life is so much more fun when I'm with you!
Giggles, laughter, and shy smiles... even though our session began at 7.30am, the good-looking Mak family rocked up ready to go. Super high energy at such an early hour too!
Let it go... let it go....
The 'heat' never bothered me anyway

KOI-loving, and dedicated, honest mummy blogger (calvinadawn.com) whose life revolves around her two adorable little ones - EB and ED, and her gorgeous doggie - Calvina Dawn is easily one of the nicest persons I've photographed... and her two young ones, were just completely photogenic and personable too! I really enjoyed Frozen-loving EB, breaking out into passionate song and dance, while singing 'Let it Go!'. There were also many laugh-out-loud moments, especially with inquisitive doggie-loving ED. #ohwhatfun! I need another session with you guys! The hour just flew by too quickly!
p/s: at her request, I've selected photos which does not feature daddy heavily.
